NAACPMYC JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
Media, PA. –NAACP Media Youth Council is sponsoring a Juneteenth Celebration in partnership with the Borough of Media, PA and the Heritage Park Committee to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the US and celebrate the rich history and traditions of the African Americans in the Media, PA area on Saturday, June 18. The event will be held from 12:00 to 3:00pm at Heritage Park at 5th and Broomall Streets in Media, Pennsylvania in Delaware County. This is a free event.
The celebration will be a fun-filled afternoon for all ages which will include live musical performances from local talent, spoken word, trivia, crafts, a live yoga demonstration, local community organizations and powerful words from our local community leaders.
